One of the top requests from LeaderBridge alums is for support in creating organizational change that embraces and integrates justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. This fall, leaders from six local nonprofits will join Equity Through Action for LeaderBridge’s first Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI*) Leadership Series. Designed with LeaderBridge alums in mind, this virtual cohort program will explore how JEDI* can be defined and demonstrated within organizations. Through an interactive approach, course participants will explore how to build board buy-in for organizational change, create accountability measures for their organization’s equity work, and identify short and long-term solutions for challenges.
Several LeaderBridge alums have joined the cohort, including Michelle Edwards of Live It Learn It, Paula Fitzgerald of Ayuda, and Jilna Kothary of Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts of Culture. We also welcome Zakiya Sackor of Kindred, Rafael Delgado of Dog Tag Inc., and Raysheen Spivey of Everyone Home DC – all new to LeaderBridge!
